We are looking to employ an HR assistant with outstanding administrative and communication skills. An HR assistant is expected to be a conceptual thinker with superb organizational and time management skills. You must be reliable and should accurately follow instructions with the ability to multitask and acclimatize to a fast-paced environment.
We are looking to hire a well-organized individual to become part of our team as an HR Assistant. The HR Assistant plays a important role in supporting the HR department by handling various administrative tasks and functions. This includes maintaining employee records, facilitating the recruitment process, coordinating HR projects, and delivering exceptional customer service to employees.
HR Assistant Job Description
**Responsibilities**:
- Support all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.
- Maintain digital and electronic records of employees.
- Serve as point of contact with benefit vendors and administrators.
- Maintain calendars of the HR management team.
- Oversee the completion of compensation and benefit documentation.
- Assist with performance management procedures.
- Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
- Coordinate training sessions and seminars.
- Perform orientations and update records of new staff.
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
- Process payroll and resolve any payroll errors.
- Complete termination paperwork and exit interviews.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
- Maintain and update the employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Prepare and distribute HR documents such as employment contracts, offer letters, and company policies.
- Address employee inquiries and escalate issues to HR personnel as needed.
- Coordinate new hire orientations and ensure completion of required paperwork.
- Assist in the exit process for departing employees, conducting exit interviews and processing termination paperwork.
- Support benefits enrollment processes, including health insurance and retirement plans.
