Sales Supervisor

As a Sales Supervisor in the water industry, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and lead a team of sales representatives in promoting and selling water-related products and services. You will play a crucial role in driving sales growth, achieving revenue targets, and expanding the company's customer base in the water industry.
**Responsibilities**:
Team Leadership: Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to a team of sales representatives, ensuring they are motivated, well-trained, and equipped to achieve sales targets.
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies, tactics, and plans to meet or exceed sales objectives in the water industry. Regularly analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Sales Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of the sales team, track sales metrics, and provide regular reports and feedback to the sales representatives and management. Take necessary actions to address any performance gaps and optimize team productivity.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners in the water industry. Identify and address customer needs, resolve any issues or concerns, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Sales Training and Development: Conduct regular sales training sessions, workshops, and product knowledge sessions for the sales team. Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and technologies, and ensure the team is well-informed to effectively communicate the value proposition to customers.
Sales Forecasting and Budgeting: Collaborate with the sales and marketing departments to develop accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and targets. Monitor sales performance against budgeted goals and take corrective actions when necessary.
Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities. Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities, potential customers, and competitive advantages for the company's products and services.
Sales Presentations and Negotiations: Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and negotiations, especially with key clients or for high-value deals. Provide guidance to the sales team in preparing compelling sales presentations and proposals.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the water industry or a related field
Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role
Strong understanding of sales techniques, strategies, and customer relationship management
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to motivate and inspire a sales team to achieve targets
Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze market trends and sales data
Willingness to travel as required to meet with customers and attend industry events
