OVERVIEW

The Sourcing and Supplier Management team is looking for a manager to join our Eastern Europe and Middle East and Africa (EEMEA) Regional Sourcing team, who will partner with our business and Global Supply Chain colleaugues to support and deliver sourcing strategies and intiatives.

ROLE & RESPONSBIBITIES

In this role, you will support all business functions, across all categories of spend by assessing and manage supplier risk, and ensure suppliers are supporting Mastercard payment solutions and our ESG goals. You will:

- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers, across the designated category, business unit, regions.
- Partners across the Sourcing and Third-Party Risk Management functions as well as all business and finance functions to understand historical spend data, future demands, obligations, risk mitigation, business needs and consequently develops sourcing strategy and implementation plans for the regions
- Provides expertise on market conditions, scenario analysis, industry trends, category/product knowledge and emerging supply options.
- Contributing to the strategic sourcing process by analyzing spend, defining requirements, developing strategies, authoring RFx's and negotiating contracts while improving supplier performance and mitigating risk.
- Ensure compliance with procure-to-pay policies through oversight, training, communications, and reporting.
- Provide day to day procurement support to your designated teams/category, including the management of requisitions.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of sourcing, risk, and legal processes by providing interpretation and analysis of contract documents and review and evaluate customer requests for changes in or revisions of contracts that involve technical specifications, cost, or schedule impact on the company.
- Negotiate large transactions.

ALL ABOUT YOU
- Minimum 10-years of experience in a strategic managerial sourcing role in a best-in-class organization preferred
- A successful sourcing professional with experience in procuring high value services, especially in marketing category.
- Experience developing & managing senior & key stakeholder category and regional relationships.
- Experience in supply chain and risk management and the implementation of sourcing strategies/negotiations that provide spend management, improve value, and deliver commercial, cost and operational efficiencies.
- Customer focused with a solution-oriented mindset, coupled with the ability to manage multiple projects to successful completion.
- Experience interacting and communicating with executives, using influencing skills.
- Strong project management skills
- Experience with procurement and eSourcing systems (e.g. Coupa).
- Experience executing sourcing transformation projects and supporting strategic initiatives.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of EEMEA Region.
- Knowledge of Arabic or Turkish or Ukrainian language will be an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or Master's degree strongly preferred.
