**Key Job Responsibilities**
- Ensure that all the Standard Operating Procedure are followed
- Responsible for maintaining a strong client relationship and ensuring that all convention specifications are communicated to and executed by all hotel operating departments making for a successful meeting experience for the meeting planner and attendees.
- Responsible for the appropriate and timely set up of all functions and meetings while maintaining standards of food, beverage and meeting specifications.
- Manage, in conjunction with the Executive Steward, the inventory, control and breakage/loss reduction of china, glass and silver as it relates to function services and banquet services.
- Inspect and oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of all function space, public areas, and service areas on all banquet levels. Coordinate with Housekeeping and Engineering to ensure the highest level of product delivery.
- Maintain a high level of service by constantly training and coaching all direct reports and staff.

**DTCM Responsibilities**

**“Banquet Operations Manager will be responsible and accountable for the Implementation and improvement of Occupational Health and Safety Practices for the area of representation in the hotel”**
- Develop new work procedures as required, in conjunction with Department Head
- Provide all employees with relevant DTCM information in an appropriate manner
- Provide personal protective equipment and clothing if hazards cannot be fully eliminated;
- Provide adequate supervision through technical guidance and support
- Assisting department head to carry out risk assessment in their work activities and Identify and control hazardous conditions;
- Provide appropriate facilities for safe storage, handling and transport of hazardous substances;
- Ensure that all accidents and injuries are reported to the EHS Manager/Department Head
- Ensuring that DTCM objective and targets are followed and communicated to all staffs to achieve the desired result
- Ensure that staff are adequately supervised
- Ensure that any risks, which they notice, or which have been brought to their attention, are either where practicable, made safe Where not practicable, reported to the Head of Department

**Job Requires**
- Knowledge of the forecasting, budgeting
- High school diploma / Diploma in Hotel Management would be advantage
- Computer literate and great organizational and soft skills

**Salary**: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
