**Responsibilities**:
Al Muqarram Industry is seeking for QC Chemist professional to join our team. The Quality Control chemist working at Sharjah/UAQ plant will report to the Quality Control Manager. Maintains quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products; recording quality results. Coordinates with other department to maintain smooth operation.

**Job Responsibilities.**
- Sampling, testing and approving of incoming raw materials and packaging materials; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning out-of-specification material.
- Record and update test results of incoming raw materials and packaging materials in logbook and forms.
- Sampling, testing and approving of in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating discrepancies to Production Supervisor & QC Manager.
- Record and update test results of in-process materials in forms and in ERP.
- Collect in-process samples and store in retention samples area with proper label on cartridges and cartons.
- Sampling testing and approving filled finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
- Record and update test results of finished good materials in forms and checklists.
- Collect finished goods samples and store in retention samples area with proper label on cartons, recorded on control samples log and updated on ERP.
- Routine inspection in production to check ongoing process.
- Random check on finished goods in carton for final check before transfer to warehouse.
- Perform investigation and tests on customer complaints and in-house complaints.
- Assist in technical reports or documentation such as customer and in-house complaints reports and certificate of analysis.
- Prepare sales sample requests from sales team.
- Testing of competitor samples and recording results in logbook.
- Testing of retention samples for validation and recording of results.
- Ensure 5S and safety standards are maintained. Maintain cleanliness of all work areas including all instruments.
- Done internal calibration of the laboratory instruments as per the calibration plan and make complete records of their calibration status internally & externally.
- Swapping and rotating of the lab responsibilities which/when required time to time.
- Follow the Environment, Safety & AMI internal rules & regulation.
- Any other jobs assigned time to time as per the demands.

**Requirements**:

- Master/ Bachelor degree in Science / Polymer /Chemical etc
- At least (3-5) years’ experience as a QC Chemist in manufacturing industry or Chemical industry.
- Ready to work in 12 hours shift duty
