**University Admission Counselor for USA-UK-CANADA-AUSTRALIA-EUROPE**

Career Counselor role is for someone who has in-depth knowledge of the admissions process to the colleges and universities internationally. You’ll also have the chance to work one-on-one with individual students, playing an important role as a leader or mentor in helping these individuals shape their futures.

We are looking for an experienced career counselor who is charismatic, who enjoys working with aspiring high school students for college admissions, and with working adults for MBA admissions.
- 1) Advise students about what courses and educational programs they need for particular careers

2) Help clients select the right schools or programs for their needs

3) Aid clients in the job search process by teaching them where to look for open positions and connecting them with job search resources

4) Guide students in determining their interests and abilities using a wide range of methods, such as aptitude assessments, interviews and planning materials

5) Help students locate sources of financial support to pay for school and other training programs

6) Evaluate clients’ background, education, and training, to help them develop realistic goals

7) Use achievement and aptitude tests to help clients get a better idea of what they're good at

8) Develop career services programs that will help student in exploring and planning career options.

9) Coordinate with academic advisors to help students in making career choices based on their academic majors

10) Research and analyze current employment trends in various industries.

11) Maintain regular contacts with potential employers for new job opportunities.

12) Educate students on resume building, interview skills, and professionalism.

13) Conduct mock interviews and job search workshops for students.

15) Help students craft a long-term plan for reaching their career objectives

1. Master’s degree in education, career counseling or similar field

2. Outstanding interpersonal skills.

3. Top-notch investigative, assessment, and communication skills.

5. Administers, interprets, documents, and reports findings on different educational and psychological assessments.

6. Have a minimum of 5-7 years of full-time experience in the industry

8. Have the ability to deal with students and families from different parts of the world who come from different academic curriculum such as IB, A-Levels, French Bec, CBSE, AP, etc.

9. Strives to promote an atmosphere of trust, confidentiality, and respect to encourage parents as well as the Amourion community in seeking services or consultation and/or referral aimed at students’ psychological health and wellbeing.

11. Strong knowledge of group dynamics and personal counseling techniques suitable to an educational setting.
