**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:
1. Perform comprehensive surveys and inspections of marine vessels, offshore platforms, and other maritime structures to assess their condition, stability, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

2. Evaluate structural designs, stability calculations, and hydrostatic properties of vessels, identifying any potential issues and proposing appropriate remedial measures.

3. Conduct analysis and calculations to determine vessel performance, such as stability, resistance, and propulsion characteristics.

4. Collaborate with engineering teams to provide technical expertise and guidance in the design and modification of marine structures and systems.

5. Prepare detailed reports outlining survey findings, including recommendations for repairs, modifications, or improvements to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

6. Develop and review specifications, drawings, and technical documentation related to naval architecture projects.

7. Utilize specialized software and tools for modeling, simulation, and analysis of vessel performance and structural integrity.

9. Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to address inquiries, provide technical support, and ensure compliance with project requirements.

10. Contribute to the development and implementation of quality assurance and control procedures within the survey company.

**Requirements**:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field.

2. Proven work experience as a Naval Architect, preferably in a survey company or maritime consultancy.

3. In-depth knowledge of naval architecture principles, marine engineering, and structural analysis.

4. Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software and naval architecture-specific tools.

5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex technical data and drawings.

6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare detailed reports and effectively communicate technical information to clients and stakeholders.

7. Familiarity with relevant international standards and regulations governing naval architecture and marine construction.

8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

9. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate and high-quality work.

10. Flexibility to travel to various locations for on-site inspections and surveys, as required.
