**Chocolate Head Chef - Chocolate Factory**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Management**:
- Manage kitchen schedules, ensuring efficient production timelines and resource allocation.
- **Product Development**:
- Innovate and develop new chocolate products, flavors, and recipes that align with company goals and market trends.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to create seasonal and limited-edition chocolate collections.
- Maintain consistency and quality across all products.
- **Production Oversight**:
- Oversee the daily production of chocolates, ensuring that all products meet the factory’s high standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the purchasing department to order ingredients and supplies.
- Ensure that all production processes comply with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
- **Quality Control**:
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all chocolates meet the required standards of taste, texture, and appearance.
- Implement continuous improvement processes to optimize product quality and operational efficiency.
- **Collaboration**:
- Work closely with the marketing and sales departments to align product development with market needs and promotional campaigns.
- Liaise with suppliers to source the highest quality ingredients for chocolate production.
- **Cost Management**:
- Oversee the kitchen’s budget, controlling food costs and minimizing waste.
- Plan and implement cost-effective production methods while maintaining high-quality standards.
- **Compliance & Health Standards**:
- Ensure adherence to all relevant food safety standards, including HACCP, and other local and international regulations.
- Conduct regular kitchen inspections to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a Chef, within the chocolate industry.
- Strong expertise in chocolate production, including tempering, molding, and enrobing techniques.
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification in chocolate-making, or related fields.
- Demonstrated creativity and innovation in chocolate creation.
- Knowledge of food safety, health regulations, and HACCP standards.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a high-paced production environment while maintaining attention to detail.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Experience working with automated chocolate production equipment.
- Familiarity with luxury or artisanal chocolate-making processes.
- Understanding of consumer trends and preferences in the chocolate industry.
