Autocad Draftsman

**Overview of the role**:
As an AutoCAD Drafter, you will be responsible for creating 2D drawings using AutoCAD software. If you have a strong attention to detail and are able to work independently, then we want you on our team

**What you will do**:

- Create 2D CAD drawings for ELV & Security Projects (Structured Cabling, CCTV, ACS, Gate Barrier, Parking Management System, GRMS, BMS etc.
- Program 2D CAD drawings using AutoCAD
- Study architectural and structural drawings, blueprints, and other job-related documents and prepare specifications, quantities, and drawings of proposed work
- Use CAD software to create accurate drawings
- Prepare shop drawings and shop bills of materials and procure materials as needed
- Track inventory and notify management of shortages or overages
- Build models, shop drawings, and 3D drawings
- Build and test prototypes

**Required skills to be successful**:

- Knowledge of building codes, standards, and practices (Etisalat & DU), Sira Requirements (Dubai) MCC Requirements (Ahu), SSD & SVG Drawings.
- Knowledge of construction methods and technologies, and ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts.

**What equips you for the role**:

- 3+ years of drafting experience in ELV and Security Systems, including experience with AutoCAD
- Certification in AutoCAD
