JOB SUMMARY:
As the Inventory Manager at NASEEM PERFUMES, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our inventory management processes to ensure the efficient flow of goods throughout our operations. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management, from planning and procurement to storage and distribution. Your keen attention to detail and analytical skills will be instrumental in identifying trends, minimizing losses, and maximizing inventory turnover. Collaborating with various departments and suppliers, you will forecast demand, negotiate pricing, and implement best practices to streamline operations and enhance overall efficiency. **Responsibilities**:
- Oversee all aspects of inventory management, including planning, procurement, storage, and distribution.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and minimize losses.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies or potential shortages.
- Coordinate with various departments to forecast demand and ensure adequate stock levels.
- Analyze data to identify trends and make strategic inventory decisions.
- Optimize inventory turnover and minimize carrying costs while maximizing service levels.
- Lead and train inventory team members to ensure efficient operations.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times.
- Implement best practices for inventory management and recommend process improvements.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Manager or similar role, with a minimum of 4 years in inventory management.
- Strong understanding of inventory management best practices and procedures.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Knowledge of Perfume inventory management practices (preferred).
**Qualifications**:
- Certification in Inventory Management (e.g., CPIM) is a plus.
- Experience working in manufacturing or similar environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with First-in/First-out management style is an advantage.
