We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Commis Chef to join our dynamic culinary team and take charge of our hot section. As a Commis Chef, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our kitchen, while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

**Responsibilities**:
Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in preparing, cooking, and presenting a variety of dishes for our hot section, ensuring adherence to established recipes and quality standards.
- Handle and prepare all ingredients required for hot section dishes, including meat, poultry, fish, vegetables, and sauces.
- Execute cooking techniques accurately to create appetizing and visually appealing dishes.
- Ensure proper portion control and minimize waste to contribute to cost efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, following all sanitation and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate orders and ensure timely delivery of meals.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying the Head Chef of any shortages or replenishment needs.
- Contribute creative ideas to menu development and improvements in hot section offerings.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new culinary techniques to continuously enhance your culinary skills.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Commis Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen.
- Culinary degree or relevant culinary certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hot section cooking techniques, ingredients, and food safety practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
