**Job Description**:
This position is responsible for assisting in the coordination, development, implementation and maintenance of a computer based Asset Management System (AMS).

**Essential functions**
- Create and furnish maintenance reports for Oracle and IT dispersal.
- Monitor a data gathering system to move rig maintenance reports from the rig to the database.
- Implementation of the Planned Maintenance Program at the rig site, including training of personnel of various skill levels.
- Identify, tag and document rig equipment and machinery.
- Convert rig equipment descriptions into appropriate computer format.
- Data entry into the PM software.
- Monitor changes in rig equipment inventories through the PM data input operators, audit checks, and systems input from the field.
- Monitor field personnel’s data entry.
- Assist with specific maintenance questions/ problems; give advice or locate information from the manufacturers to help solve rig site problems.
- Actively lead in the career development of subordinates by establishing goals and objectives and providing feedback and/or coaching as needed.
- Remain abreast of current technological progress to ensure the Company’s equipment remains marketable and competitive.
- Abide by Company policies and procedures.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Ensure that personal behaviors and work practices are in line with Company safety standards.
- Responsible for safety of self and others in the vicinity to include, but not limited to, employees, vendors and guests.
- Provide visible leadership engagement, be aware of housekeeping and take additional safety precautions to ensure no one is put at risk.
- Do not take short cuts or unnecessary risks and actively work with others to ensure they take due care and do not put themselves or others at risk.
- Ensure all incidents are reported and appropriately investigated in accordance with Company procedure.
- As needed, seek advice from HSE representative.

- A High School diploma is required.
- Should have at least 5 years of work experience in the drilling industry.
- Should have experience in supervising others.
- Must have Oracle PM Implementers/Trainer certification.
- Must be a detail oriented, self-starter and able to work with little supervision while maintaining goals/tasks.
- Must have good PC skills to include all MS Office products.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills and able to effectively communicate with staff, management, customers and vendors. Being multi-lingual is preferred.
- Must be able/willing to travel nationally and internationally.
- Must possess sound reasoning skills and have the ability to follow directions.
