A General Nurse provides excellent health care to patients and facilitate their speedy recovery.

The goal is to promote patient’s well-being by providing high quality nursing care.

**Responsibilities**:

- Performs the initial assessment of the patient. Includes taking the VS, height and weight.
- Assists the physician in physical examination of the patient physician in the performance of skin exams, monitor and record a patient's medical history, and be aware of relevant test results.
- Assists the doctor with a variety of cosmetic procedures, such as botox, filler, PRP, chemical peels, mesotherapy, non-surgical lifting and other beauty enhancement treatment.
- Demonstrates skills in handling and operation of machines.
- Responsible for ensuring strict aseptic techniques are followed while performing the various dermatological procedures.
- Assesses the patient and family education needs and provides health education.
- Familiar with with how to treat acne, specific acne medications and their risks, and alternative topical medications. Educate each patient on how to protect their skin and care for skin diseases and conditions at home.
- Sterilizes instrument and does daily monitoring and checking if equipment are in proper working condition.
- Provide pre and post treatment care to patient. Ensure proper documentation.
- Maintains confidentiality of patient’s record and updates all relevant patient documentations/medical records as per policy and procedures.
- Demonstrates strict adherence to all policies and procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the department as per infection control and waste management policy of the clinic.
- Demonstrates sound knowledge and participates in fire safety, patient safety, infection control, BLS and the other necessary precautions as per center policy.
- Takes responsibility for professional clinical practice and is actively involved in updating and continuing education.
- Familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures.
- Comply with Waste management procedures and policies.
- Use of appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems.
- Demonstrates an economical approach to the utilization of equipment’s and supplies to maintain an appropriate stock.
- Responsible for daily checking of crash carts and emergency equipment’s’ as per hospital policy.
- Responsible for appropriate storage and maintaining inventory of medications including high alert medications and narcotics as per center policy.

Requirement:
Bachelor's Degree

Valid DOH License as Registered Nurse

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- nursing: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

- DOH License (required)
