**Descripción del Trabajo**

Atender los teléfonos, tomar reservaciones para el comedor e ingresar la información del comensal en el sistema de reservaciones. Llevar una lista de espera e indicar un tiempo exacto de espera. Tomar decisiones apropiadas acerca de la disposición de asientos mediante la utilización de la tabla de rotación de sitios del puesto. Organizar la disposición de los asientos para grupos numerosos y con necesidades especiales. Recibir a los huéspedes y determinar el número de integrantes del grupo. Indicar los asientos a los huéspedes ofreciéndoles una mesa limpia y disponible, retirando las sillas, ubicando los menús limpios y actualizados delante de cada uno, etc. Guiar a los huéspedes a través de los comedores y brindar asistencia cuando la necesiten. Asegurarse de que los cubiertos sean los apropiados y de que cada huésped tenga una servilleta, cubiertos limpios y cualquier otro elemento que forme parte de un cubierto estándar. Mantener la limpieza de las áreas de trabajo a lo largo de todo el día. Controlar la disponibilidad de lugares, el servicio y la seguridad en los comedores. Comunicarse con los huéspedes y otros empleados para satisfacer las necesidades de aquellos y asegurar que el personal trabaje como equipo. Asistir a la gerencia en la contratación, capacitación, programación, evaluación, asesoramiento, disciplina, motivación y entrenamiento de los empleados; servir como ejemplo.
