**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Business Development & Lead Generation**:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities by prospecting potential clients in industries such as retail, manufacturing, e-commerce, and more.
- Generate leads and maintain a robust pipeline through cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events.
- Conduct market research to understand client needs, industry trends, and competitor offerings to position our cargo services effectively.
- **Client Relationship Management**:
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction with the services provided and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Provide personalized cargo solutions, including air, sea, and land freight services, based on customers' specific shipping needs.
- Work closely with customers to ensure smooth coordination of shipments, manage expectations, and address concerns promptly.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, handling all aspects of the sales cycle, including follow-up, service, and post-sale support.
- **Sales Targets & Performance**:
- Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by converting prospects into clients and maximizing revenue opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients, showcasing our cargo and logistics services, pricing options, and value-added benefits.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service terms with clients, ensuring that the company’s offerings remain competitive while maintaining profitability.
- Track and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to management and suggesting strategies to meet targets.
- **Logistics Coordination & Support**:
- Collaborate with internal operations, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure that cargo shipments are processed efficiently and meet client expectations.
- Stay updated on shipment status and communicate any issues or delays to customers proactively.
- Assist clients with necessary documentation, including customs clearance and regulatory compliance, ensuring smooth import/export processes.
- **Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis**:
- Monitor and analyze market conditions, competitors, and customer trends to identify new sales opportunities and refine sales strategies.
- Keep clients informed about new services, industry updates, and regulatory changes that may impact their cargo needs.
- Provide feedback to the management team on customer preferences and market shifts to help shape future service offerings.
- **CRM Management & Reporting**:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and contract details in the CRM system.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to track achievements against targets and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide insights on client feedback, market trends, and competitor activities to the sales and management teams.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- **Education**:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in logistics or freight forwarding (such as FIATA or IATA) is a plus.
- **Experience**:
- **Minimum of 4 years of experience** in sales within the **cargo, logistics, or freight forwarding industry** in the UAE.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in the logistics or cargo sector.
- Experience working with both small and large businesses, handling different types of cargo (air, sea, land).
- **Technical Skills**:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software (Salesforce, Zoho, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of the logistics industry, including air, sea, and land freight, customs regulations, and shipping documentation.
- Understanding of freight pricing models, incoterms, and international shipping procedures.
- **Soft Skills**:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage with decision-makers at all levels.
- Self-motivated and target-oriented with a demonstrated ability to work independently and achieve sales objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and third-party vendors.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to resolve client issues effectively.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
