The Data Entry Specialist contributes to the smooth functioning of the organization's operations by maintaining accurate records and assisting with data-related tasks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Data Entry and Management: Enter and update data into the organization's databases, systems, and spreadsheets accurately and efficiently. Ensure data integrity and adherence to established data entry protocols and standards.
- Data Verification and Validation: Review and verify data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency. Conduct regular checks and audits to identify and correct any discrepancies or errors in the data.
- Database Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and updating the organization's databases by performing regular data clean-up tasks, archiving outdated information, and ensuring data consistency and relevance.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of data entries and related documentation. Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Assist in data analysis and report generation by extracting and compiling relevant information from databases. Collaborate with team members to provide accurate and timely data for reporting purposes.
- Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with different teams to gather data requirements and ensure accurate data entry and management. Communicate any data-related issues or concerns to the appropriate stakeholders promptly.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within data entry and management procedures. Recommend and implement streamlined processes and automation tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Quality Assurance: Contribute to quality control efforts by performing regular data quality checks and addressing any issues promptly. Maintain high standards of data accuracy and integrity.
- Documentation and Training: Document data entry procedures and guidelines to ensure consistency and continuity. Assist in training new team members on data entry protocols and best practices.
- Ad hoc Support: Provide support to other team members and assist with additional administrative tasks and projects as assigned.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Additional certifications or coursework in data entry or related fields is a plus.
- Proven experience in data entry or a similar role, preferably in a business or professional association environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and management.
- Proficient computer skills, including strong typing speed and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with data entry tools and software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
