**Job Title: Legal Advisor**
- **Position Objective**:_

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced_**Legal Advisor**_with expertise in contracting and construction industry laws, regulations, and compliance to join our team. The _**Legal Advisor **_is responsible for assisting in overseeing and managing the legal and compliance office. They provide advice and support in a variety of areas, such as regulatory compliance, employment, risk management, contracts, liability, and insurance. They play a crucial role in ensuring the protection of legal rights and maintaining operations within company policy and UAE law.
- **Responsibilities**:_

Ø Provide expert legal advice and support to internal teams regarding contracting and construction industry laws, regulations, and compliance issues

Ø Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including construction agreements, joint venture agreements, subcontracts, and procurement contracts

Ø Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards

Ø Develop, update, and implement internal policies and procedures to enhance legal compliance within the organization

Ø Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to assess risk, provide guidance, and address legal concerns throughout all stages of the legal process

Ø Represent the company in legal proceedings, negotiations, and dispute resolution, if required

Ø Stay up to date with changes in legislation and industry best practices to proactively identify potential legal risks and opportunities

Ø Current knowledge of industry practices, trends and issues in the UAE

Ø Superior interpersonal skills as demonstrated by the ability to form professional relationships at all levels within the organization and with appropriate external stakeholders

Ø Highly developed organizational, communication and presentation skills

Ø Overseas work experience within a multi-cultural environment would be advantageous
- **Requirements**:_

Ø Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field

Ø Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience as a Legal Advisor, preferably specializing in contracting and construction industry laws

Ø Excellent knowledge of contracting/construction law, regulations, and compliance requirements

Ø Thorough knowledge of the laws of the UAE

Ø Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills

Ø Exceptional communication and negotiation skills

Ø Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Ø Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines with meticulous attention to detail

Ø Professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic

Ø Currently in the UAE alongside with its work experience and tenure

Ø Good communications skills in English - Arabic speaking is a plus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
