**We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Advisor to join our software development firm. As a Legal Advisor, you will play a crucial role in protecting the legal interests of the company by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with third-party firms. You will also provide legal counsel and guidance on various matters related to software development, intellectual property, data protection, and compliance.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including software development agreements, licensing agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other legal documents with third-party firms.
- Ensure that all contracts and legal documents comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to provide guidance on legal issues related to software development, intellectual property, data protection, and compliance.
- Advise and assist in resolving legal disputes, including contract disputes, intellectual property disputes, and other legal matters that may arise.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as project managers, developers, and business development teams, to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks.
- Stay updated on changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, and communicate any potential impacts to the management team.
- Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to promote legal compliance and protect the company's interests.
- Provide legal support and advice on other business activities as required.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field. A Master's degree or specialization in Intellectual Property Law or Information Technology Law is a plus.
- Admission to the bar association and active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven experience working as a Legal Advisor or in a similar role within the software development industry.
- In-depth knowledge of software development processes, intellectual property laws, data protection regulations, and contract law.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify legal risks and propose practical solutions.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Up-to-date knowledge of legal trends and developments in the software development industry.
- Familiarity with international legal frameworks, such as GDPR, CCPA, or other relevant data protection laws.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build effective working relationships with internal teams and external partners.
