Cafe Manager

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Cafe Manager to oversee the operations at Matcha Vibes Cafe, a dynamic space dedicated to celebrating the art and culture of matcha. If you have a deep love for matcha, understand its cultural significance, and have strong operational management skills, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead day-to-day operations, managing all aspects of the cafe, including staff supervision, scheduling, inventory management, and ensuring top-tier service quality.
- Recruit, train, and mentor cafe staff, ensuring they deliver excellent customer service while upholding the cafe’s matcha-focused values.
- Ensure every guest enjoys an authentic and welcoming matcha experience, maintaining high standards of hospitality and attention to detail.
- Oversee the preparation of matcha-based drinks, desserts, and other menu items, ensuring they meet the cafe’s high-quality standards and reflect the essence of matcha culture.
- Manage inventory and supply chain operations with a focus on premium matcha products, ensuring consistent availability and quality. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to secure the best ingredients.
- Play an active role in marketing initiatives, collaborating to promote the cafe through events, social media, and community engagement, while educating customers on the benefits and cultural significance of matcha.
- Monitor financial aspects of the business, including budgeting, tracking sales, and managing expenses to optimize profitability. Provide regular performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations to maintain a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
- Take ownership of the operational aspects of the business, ensuring processes are efficient and continuously improved.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing a high-volume cafe or restaurant. Experience with a tea or matcha-focused establishment is highly desirable.
- Strong passion for matcha, with a solid understanding of its culture and health benefits, and a desire to share that knowledge with others.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences, with an eye for detail and product consistency.
- Extensive experience in managing operations, including inventory, scheduling, finances, and supplier relationships. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvements, with creativity for promoting the cafe and engaging with the community.

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience, plus benefits.

Pay: AED9,000.00 - AED14,000.00 per month
