POSITION

The **Visual Merchandising Department** **UAE **is part of Parfums Christian Dior Emirates, based in Dubai, and contributes to the development of the brand image in the UAE and ensures the integrity of all the institutional brand requirements.

Reporting to the Visual Merchandising Manager, this role supports the Visual Merchandising Team in ensuring the image of our stores is preserved as per the Maison protocol - always at the highest standards.

The **Visual Merchandising Coordinator** guarantees accurate and qualitative brand image according to the brand guidelines through all the 61 points of sales in the UAE. He or she will be a key point of contact between field teams, suppliers, and the regional VM & Architecture department for the maintenance, upgrade, and optimization of our stores.

Your main assignments will be focused on:
**1. Maintenance and Hard Merchandising**
- Identify and anticipate frequent issues, and seek long-term solutions to prevent aging of hard VM in our points of sale (POS).
- Develop a network of suppliers to ensure our stores conditions are as per the Maison standards.
- Create and deliver training modules to frontliners and suppliers on how to preserve store counters, furniture, flooring, etc.
- Develop processes to report hard merchandising issues from the field to the back office, and select best suppliers depending on the problem.
- Conduct regular market visits, check adherence to brand guidelines, collect feedback on built and report with recommendations.
- Proactively suggest new build and improvements while anticipating recurrent issues.
- Workhand-in-hand with Regional Architecture team by taking part in factory inspections, installation of permanent units/POS and actively following up on resolution of all maintenance issues after opening.
- Contribute to the effective communication between local and regional offices, communicating opportunities and needs at the field level via reports.
- Provide recommendations to the Regional Architecture & VM team on best practices based on successes and failures.
- Keep up to date on new openings and permanent solutions through competitor watch - when possible, share detailed feedback and suggestions to the business.

**2. Soft Merchandising**
- Acquire excellent knowledge of Brand and Launches visual guidelines to prepare relevant simulations in accordance with Marketing Plan and in collaboration with Regional VM Team.
- Handle the production and installation of all visuals and movie loops updates, preparing the order file for suppliers and following up on color proofing and layouts.

**3. Cost Optimization and Budget Management**
- Responsible for aligning the maintenance budget with VM and General Management.
- Negotiate with suppliers to optimize cost and ensure project remains within agreed budget.
- Manage the costs follow up of all projects from bidding to invoices payment.

PROFILE
- Preferably, 3 years of experience in Visual Merchandising and/or in the beauty industry.
- Strong project management skills to complete tasks with accuracy and attention to details within given deadlines, and ability to prioritize and multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work with diverse teams.
- Good understanding of premium brand strategy and eye for details in a luxury environment.
- Able to work under pressure with flexible hours (including nights).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Package.
- Fluent English required.
- Driving license mandatory and ability to travel across all Emirates.
