EMEA South Rise and Cloud Team Purpose and Objectives

The EMEA South Rise and Cloud Team supports customers with their overall SAP Cloud Architecture and Strategy. We work collaboratively with customers, partners and internal teams, to drive meaningful business transformation to the Cloud. Our aim is to help our customers create and sustain long term success from their SAP investments.
- Act as trusted advisors for Internal SAP Stakeholders and Customer C-Levels with a focus on Customer Success
- Support and help to accelerate SAP’s Cloud Strategy to our Customers
- Provide holistic view of the Customers Cloud Transformation Journey by bridging the gap between business capabilities and technology enablers
- Support and discover new Customer opportunities for SAP Cloud offerings.

ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT ROLE EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

We are looking for an experience Enterprise Architect to strengthen our EMEA South Rise and Cloud team in the UAE. The following are the key tasks this role will perform:

- Drive Customer Cloud Transformation Journeys for strategic customers of the Market Unit
- Work closely with other SAP Teams to connect Customers Business aspirations to the SAP Cloud value proposition
- Ability to conduct Customer workshops and assessments, in order to identify areas of improvements and develop a Cloud vision for our customers.
- Ability to establish future state architectures and shape a clear and achievable roadmap for strategic and key customers
- Lead customer conversations and deliver at executive and leadership levels
- Drive and help shape engagements by advising leadership and sales teams to ensure the right architecture design is delivered to the customer
- Support the knowledge and asset building of the EMEA S Rise and Cloud Team.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
- Higher education degree

Functional Experience
- At least 12 years professional work experience in strategic consulting, architecture advisory or in comparable responsibility.
- Experience in building strong customer relationships
- High proficiency in customer communications and presentations is required
- Experience in diverse technology landscapes and complex transformation programs
- Strong knowledge of SaaS and IaaS design, deployment and implementation of cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments
- Experience with SAP Cloud Solutions and Architecture is preferred.

Language and travel
- Fluent written and spoken English. Arabic Speaker will also be a valuable addition
- Travel 0-80%
