Job Description: Intern - Finance and Administration

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our Finance and Administration team. As an Intern in Finance and Administration, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in various finance and administrative functions, contributing to the smooth operation of our organization. This internship will provide you with exposure to financial processes, administrative tasks, and the chance to work closely with experienced professionals in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

**Responsibilities**:
Financial Assistance:

- Assist in maintaining financial records, including data entry, coding, and filing.
- Support the finance team in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and verifying transactions.
- Help with budgeting and forecasting tasks, and contribute to financial analysis as required.

Administrative Support:

- Assist in managing office supplies, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
- Support the coordination of meetings and events, including scheduling, preparing materials, and arranging logistics.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining physical and digital files, records, and databases.
- Provide general administrative support to various departments as needed.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

- Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to support financial and operational reporting.
- Contribute to the preparation of reports, presentations, and visualizations.
- Help identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement based on data analysis.

Compliance and Documentation:

- Assist in ensuring compliance with financial and administrative policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Support the preparation and filing of necessary documentation, including tax forms, invoices, and expense reports.
- Assist in maintaining records related to contracts, agreements, and vendor management.

Collaborative Teamwork:

- Work collaboratively with team members across departments to support finance and administrative initiatives.
- Contribute ideas and suggestions for process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
- Assist in ad-hoc projects and assignments as directed by the finance and administration team.

**Requirements**:

- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interest in finance and administration, with a desire to gain practical experience in these areas.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Prior experience or coursework in finance or administration is a plus.

This internship will provide you with valuable exposure to finance and administration processes and the opportunity to contribute to real-world projects. We are committed to providing a supportive learning experience and ensuring your growth and development throughout the internship.

Note: This is an unpaid internship with a duration of 6 months. Flexible working hours can be accommodated to align with your academic commitments.

**Salary**: AED1.00 per month
