**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Menu Development**: Design and curate an innovative Mediterranean menu that reflects seasonal ingredients and the restaurant's concept. Regularly update and refine the menu based on guest feedback and market trends.
- **Kitchen Management**: Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation, to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish. Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and cost control.
- **Team Leadership**: Lead, train, and inspire the kitchen team to achieve high standards of culinary excellence. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging creativity and professional growth among staff.
- **Quality Control**: Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste. Implement and monitor food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols to ensure compliance with local health regulations.
- **Cost Management**: Manage food costs and inventory effectively, working closely with the purchasing team to source high-quality ingredients while optimizing expenses. Develop strategies to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
- **Guest Experience**: Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and an exceptional dining experience for guests. Engage with guests when appropriate, to gain feedback and create memorable experiences.
- **Innovation**: Stay current with culinary trends and continuously explore new techniques and ingredients to keep the restaurant's offerings fresh and exciting.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a high-end Mediterranean restaurant or similar setting.
- In-depth knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine, including a variety of regional dishes and cooking techniques.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure while maintaining composure.
- A passion for culinary innovation and a commitment to delivering outstanding dining experiences.
- Certification in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
