About the Role

*Key Responsibilities*
- Surface Preparation:

- Clean, sandblast, and prepare alloy wheels and metal surfaces for powder coating.
- Inspect surfaces for imperfections and ensure proper adhesion of the coating.
- Powder Coating Application:

- Operate and maintain powder coating equipment, including spray guns, booths, and ovens.
- Curing Process:

- Monitor and control curing ovens to achieve durable and high-quality finishes.
- Ensure proper temperature and time settings for different materials and coating types.
- Quality Control:

- Inspect coated items for defects such as uneven coverage, contamination, or discoloration.
- Refinish or touch up any areas as needed to meet quality standards.
- Equipment Maintenance:

- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues.
- Safety Compliance:

- Adhere to workplace safety standards, including the proper handling and disposal of materials.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during all tasks.

*Requirements*
- Proven 1-2 years experience as a powder coater or similar role in metal finishing.
- Knowledge of powder coating materials, techniques, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and work orders.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality finishes.
- Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and work in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.

*Preferred Qualifications*
- Experience in coating alloy wheels or automotive parts.
- Familiarity with different types of coatings, including metallics, primers, and specialty finishes.
- Certification in powder coating or industrial painting (a plus).

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
