Job Title: Chef De Partie
Location: Al Quoz - Dubai, UAE
**Summary of profile**
**Duties and responsibilities**
- Plan and execute menus in collaboration with other colleagues.
- Always ensure the adequacy of supplies
- Manage ingredients that should be frequently available (mise en place)
- Follow the directions of the executive and sous chef.
- Supervise, direct, and train the kitchen staff.
- Assess inventory and request resupply when necessary.
- Give attention to the productivity of the kitchen such as speed and food quality.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety, and hygiene standards. (HACCP)
- Calculate & communicate clearly and effectively in a kitchen environment all the food requirements.
- Follow the instructions and recommendations from the immediate Superiors to complete the daily tasks.
**Work experience**
- Proven 1 - 2 years of work experience (U.A.E) as a CDP or 2-3 years (U.A.E) as a DCDP, in a reputable **high-volume catering kitchen or Restaurant**
**Educational qualifications**
- High school education or a Diploma in culinary is required.
- Culinary certificate from a recognized institution will be an added advantage.
**Essential skills, Abilities & competencies required.**
- Good understanding of food, health, and safety regulations
- Fluent in ENGLISH
- Must be able to lead a team
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work under pressure.
