Position Summary
Edrington Middle East India and Africa are pleased to offer a new and exciting opportunity to join the team in the role of Assistant Brand Manager - UAE, based in Dubai. Reporting to the Customer Marketing Manager - Gulf, Türkiye & Israel, the purpose of this role is to support all brand management activity for Edrington brands across the UAE. The role contributes to the management, planning, execution, and delivery of local brand strategies & marketing activities requiring close collaboration with the distribution partner. The role will support the management of A&P budgets and forms part of and contributes to the wider regional marketing community across the MEAI region.
Job Description
Some of the key responsibilities for this role include:

- Support the management of all brand & marketing activities that delivers for both the internal needs of the business and the requirements of our external brand partners
- Responsible for responding to all market enquiries from distributor, trade & consumers
- Support the management of annual A&P budgets in conjunction with CMM & Distribution Partner reviewing on a monthly & quarterly basis
- Lead the implementation of global campaigns & develop local campaigns where appropriate working closely with local agencies
- Lead the development, management & completion of Growth Plans with full involvement with the regional growth planning process
- Manage day to day relationship with Distribution Partner - ensuring brand priorities are aligned
- Ensure wider MEAI team are kept up to date with all market activities & activity report to be completed monthly in conjunction with Distribution partner & Brand Ambassador
- Ensure all localised activities and plans are in line with brand owner guidelines and relevant legal requirements as well as Edrington Global Marketing Code
- Support on digital marketing initiatives from planning to evaluation across social channels and website optimisation
- Manage the portfolio prioritisation within the markets to ensure the correct focus/priority per brand
- Keeping up to date with market trends & insights & communicating relevant data to the wider team
- Complete specialist project work as requested by Area Manager and/or Customer Marketing Manager
Skills and Experience
To take on the challenge of this role you will ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent and have previous experience of working in an FMCG brand team. You will have strong project management skills and the ability to manage both budgets and timelines. You will be a natural team player with the ability to work cross functionally. You’ll have a tenacious attitude, the ability to manage key priorities and have the insight and drive to make proactive suggestions to grow the brand.
