We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Animal Caretaker to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As an Animal Caretaker, you will play a crucial role in the daily care and welfare of our animals, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide daily care and husbandry for animals, including feeding, watering, grooming, and cleaning of enclosures.
- Monitor and assess the health and well-being of animals, reporting any concerns or abnormalities to the senior animal care staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of animal enclosures, habitats, and common areas.
- Prepare and distribute diets for animals according to established guidelines and dietary requirements.
- Assist with the administration of medications and treatments to animals as directed by veterinary staff or management.
- Handle and restrain animals safely and appropriately for routine care, examinations, and procedures.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of enrichment activities to promote natural behaviors and mental stimulation for animals.
- Assist with the transportation of animals within the facility or to external locations as needed.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance animal care skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate records of animal care activities, including feeding schedules, health observations, and enrichment efforts.
- Assist with educational programs, tours, and public interactions involving animals.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines related to animal care and welfare.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with animals in a zoo, sanctuary, wildlife park, or similar setting is preferred but not required.
- Passion for animal welfare and a genuine desire to contribute to the care and well-being of animals.
- Basic knowledge of animal husbandry principles, including feeding, cleaning, and enrichment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and agility to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and walking.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with colleagues and visitors in a professional manner.
- Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, as needed.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the UAE.
