Piling Rig Operator

A Piling Rig Operator is responsible for operating heavy machinery used in construction and foundation projects. Their role involves precisely driving or drilling piles into the ground to create stable drilling holes for mining.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate piling rigs for driving or drilling piles across projects
- Conduct daily machine safety checks
- Ensure precise placement of piles according to project specifications
- Direct workers engaged in operating machines to drive piling and sheets
- Adhere to health and safety legislation
- Maintain accurate logs and reports
- Read and interpret gauges, meters, and instruments

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Experience as an Operator, Crawler Crane experience in piling, civil earthworks or mining
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience with Bauer, Liebherr, or Kobelco will be an advantage
- Ability to adapt to change within a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and time management skills
- Ability to solve problems quickly and communicate with construction workers on-site
- A valid driver’s license with a clean history
