iCademy Middle East is an American curriculum, private online school for grades K-12. accredited by NEASC and licensed by the KHDA. We are looking to appoint an outstanding and exceptional principal at our Knowledge Hub, located in Dubai Knowledge Park. Students at the Knowledge Hub study in our blended model learning center, following the school’s online curriculum with support from our team of site-based Learning Coaches and academic leads.

iCademy Middle East is part of the Pansophic Learning group and has been based in Dubai since 2007. We successfully educate over 1250 students in the current academic year and have enrolled over 6000 students from around the world.

**Major responsibilities include**:

- Acts as a member of the iCademy Middle East senior leadership Team, reporting to the Head of School.
- Contributes meaningfully to the development and implementation of the school’s Strategic Plan.
- Acts as the Dubai-based Principal for KHDA and regulatory purposes.
- Manages the day-to-day operations of the Knowledge Hub
- Holds accountability for growth and retention of student enrollment numbers in the Knowledge Hub.
- Responsible for the recruitment and hiring of Knowledge Hub staff and virtual Learning Coaches.
- Works closely with the Knowledge Hub staff to achieve high standards of student engagement and achievement.
- Manages student behavioral issues as they arise, in cooperation with the Learning Coaches and coordinates and conducts meetings with parents as necessary.
- Works closely with the Head of School, General Manager and Finance Manager to develop, implement and manage the Knowledge Hub budget.
- Manages Knowledge Hub staff and conducts formal and informal evaluations on a regular basis to ensure high standards of performance.
- Organizes workshops and development activities to train Knowledge Hub staff in the specific skills required to perform their role.
- In cooperation with the Community Relations manager, develops and attends community engagement events and field trips for Knowledge Hub and UAE-based students.
- Assists the Marketing Team in the provision of information and support when blended-model programs are being considered for placement in partnerships, schools, or other entities in the GCC.
- Communicates all pertinent information concerning the Knowledge Hub and VLCP to the iCademy Middle East leadership, including but not limited to student matters, enrollments, sales, business development and academic staff.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- A passion for education and for the development and well-being of our students and staff.
- 5-7 years’ experience in school administration at the principal or vice principal level, preferably within American-curriculum schools.
- Understanding of the school regulatory requirements of the UAE
- Experience in online education, or the desire to develop an understanding of online learning.
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook
- Possess a high level of interpersonal skills and professionalism, including the ability to work virtually with colleagues and supervisors located around the world and the ability to assess standards of achievement.
