**Purpose of the role**:

- To raise standards of achievement of children with a SEN
- To increase staff confidence and competence in teaching children with a SEN
- To ensure children with SEN have full entitlement to the Kings’ curriculum

**Requirements and Experience**:

- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE or equivalent.
- Have experience of the role in Primary settings for a minimum of two years, preferably in the UAE.
- Holds all relevant qualifications including QTS.
- Commitment to inclusive education that meets the needs of the individual child
- A thorough knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- A commitment to the wellbeing and pastoral care of all students.
- An innovative, creative and enthusiastic practitioner who is able and willing to contribute to the team around them and the wider school community.
- A commitment to the extra-curricular programme
- A verified passport copy
- Three satisfactory references
- Attestation of qualification certificates
- DBS/Police checks
