Purchase and Logistics Coordinator

**Job description**:
1. Process purchase orders as per requisition received from the sales and production team.
2. Analyze stock movement and ordering requirements for the SKU's considering historical movement data, seasonal trends, safety stock-lead time and current circumstances.
3. Logistics (Sea-Air-Land) Inquiry with freight forwarders, taking multiple quotes from the shipping agents and evaluation of offers, finalization considering price, service standard and region wise strength of the forwarder. Arrange Insurance for all shipments before dispatch. Generate in transit reports and analyze freight cost trends to get best price and service from the freight forwarders.
4. Regular supplier coordination and order follow ups and tracking all in transit shipments with the freight forwarders and regularly update status. Inform sales and production team in case of delays/change of schedules of orders
5. Monitor inventory and follow up with the concerned sales person for prompt invoicing of materials received against customer orders, non moving items analysis and take necessary actions for earliest movement.
6. Regular coordination with Inventory, Factory, Sales and other various departments for smooth operations.
7. Handling Supplier and Freight Forwarders payment queries, reconciliation of accounts, adjustment of debit notes on time, coordination with accounts department for timely release of supplier payments
8. Data entry of Logistics costs and regular monthly analysis to control and reduce the same.
9. Raise and resolve materials rejection / quality complaints with the supplier and regular follow up until closed.
10. Costing for finished goods and submit costing to sales managers time to time as per product specifications.
Good Interpersonal Skills
Expertise in MS Office - Excel skills - v lookup, pivot tables necessary.
Good English Communication - verbal and written business communication skills are required
Problem solving and learn and grow attitude is required

**Salary**: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
