To ensure the mobilized assets in EKFC operate smoothly to ensure business continuity by constantly seeking ways to improve performance at mínimal operating costs in compliance with all required safety standards, legal and government regulations.

**Job Purpose**:
To supervise a team of Technicians and Junior technicians to execute all scheduled and non-scheduled repairs, breakdown recovery, fault finding, and repair of all equipment /vehicles owned by EKFC to ensure the functional reliability, operational safety and other regulatory compliance.

**Key Result Areas**:
Supervise, plan and coordinate the workshop maintenance, fleet servicing and maintenance activities, including managing and allocating project resources to ensure agreed time, quality, safety and environmental targets are met.

Supervise and ensure that the subcontractors employed to support the repair activities in the workshop carry out their tasks efficiently as per EKFC standards without causing any disruptions to the overall workshop operations.

Control the Workshop Order Management in ERP, record the allocation of jobs, monitor timely, cost-effective repairs to ensure timely completion of the tasks and facilitate accurate Fleet maintenance records.

Provide advice, direction and regular feedback on workshop performance to motivate the workshop team and the outsourced team and ensure business continuity with minimum down time of vehicles.

Conduct on-the-job training and assist with solving complex mechanical and hydraulic problems, provide training and instruction to workshop personnel to enable them to perform the role efficiently and reduce the long stoppage of vehicles.

Facilitate the efficient delivery of mechanical and repair services through communication, negotiation and coordination with internal and external stakeholders and to manage stakeholder relations.

Review and understand the schematic diagrams, equipment manuals, wiring diagrams and work instructions for all recall / improvement campaigns in order to identify technical difficulties and ensure the equipment has been repaired and/or serviced on time in order to enable the smooth functioning of operations.
Provide recommendations on resources, productivity, work methods and associated costs in conjunction with the workshop staff to ensure business continuity and smooth functioning of the workshop.

Comply with all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to align as per standards and regulations.

**Job Context**:
EKFC has a mix fleet of catering Hi-loader, aging to brand new vehicles. The key challenge of the jobholder is to work with various brands and types of superstructures equipped in the catering Hi-loader fleet. The jobholder will ensure the job performed on the fleet by means of outsourced and insourced resources are completed in a professional to ensure business continuity and meet industry best standards.

**Knowledge, Skills & Minimum Experience**:
**Education Qualification**:
Diploma or ITI/ITC (Industrial Training Institute) Certification or equivalent qualification -Trade test certificate (Must have)

Valid UAE light duty license (must have)

Valid UAE heavy truck license (preferred)

**Work Experience**:
Minimum 5+ years* experience in a supervisory role in a largescale commercial fleet maintenance operation, handling heavy vehicles equipped with well-known catering hi loader super structure.

Experience in ground support equipment maintenance workshop or considerable on the job experience in Airport Ground support Equipment (Catering Hi-loader) maintenance and repair.

Transport Refrigeration units repair and maintenance/ Body shop & paint/Hydraulic and pneumatic systems/Programmable logic cards (PLC) systems and diagnosis.

Possess knowledge of welding and fabrication, Mechanical, Auto electrical, Vehicle instrumentation, Automobile Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration systems.

Possess Knowledge on Operations, services and activities of a fleet maintenance and repair program

Any specialised training on hydraulics/lifting equipment/ would be an advantage.

Good understanding of Fleet Management and understanding of business continuity will be beneficial

**Skills**:
Proven ability to communicate in English (Verbal & written)

Proficient in the use of a PC and MS Office Suite.

A valid UAE heavy driving licence (truck #. 4) is preferred.

Training on First Aid, Safety/ basic firefighting would be an advantage.

Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills able to motivate and supervise a team of workshop personnel.

Ability to work under pressure and tough deadlines

Good planning and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively and excellent supervisory skills
