Buyer (Junior)

Position**:Junior Buyer**

Job Location**:Abu Dhabi**

**Job Summary**:
Under the Direction of Procurement Manager, participates in the procurement of all items and services. Handles purchase requisitions, and other procurement duties and resolves problems. Monitors orders, prepares reports and approve orders in absence of procurement manager (as per delegation).

**TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Receive/ Handle purchase request from other department.
- Ensure all signatures/ documentations are accurate.
- Prepare the request for quotation and distribute to Suppliers.
- Compare prices, terms of payment and expected delivery dates proposed by suppliers.
- Negotiate prices/ delivery/ terms of payment and other terms with supplies.
- Prepare technical/ commercial evaluation and pass them for approval.
- Track purchase from order placement until it arrives in hand of stakeholder.
- Keep track purchase history.
- Ensure deliveries on time.
- Verify deliveries meet all specifications and end-users are satisfied.
- Notify appropriates department of the placement orders after issuing purchase order.
- Determine cause of any delays.
- Request samples from suppliers for stakeholder approval.
- Match purchase order with shipment.
- Verify billed amount with goods received in case of any discrepancy.
- Obtain management approvals.
- Keep track of supplier’s deliveries.
- Approve purchase order in absence of procurement manager (based on delegation from purchase manager, must be copied to General Manager and the limit is in line with the DOA approval matrix).
- Entering/ editing new vendors to GP system (with procurement manager approval).
- Entering /creating new items/ services to GP system.
- Managing cash purchases, petty cash handling and shipment clearance.

**Minimun qualifications & requirement**:

- Bachelor's Degree, Diploma or any related graduation
- At least 2 to 3 years Hospitality experience in the UAE
- Excellent expreince in Negotiation, Sourcing, Buying, Purchasing and onm hands experience with ERP system or any related software
- Managing the buyers, commercial Acumen, preparing LPO, PO, PR, handles quotation, Invoice, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Excellent communication and people skills, willingness to learn
- Strong customer orientation
- Work well in team environment and be collaborative team player

**Salary**: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
