DPA Assistant responsibilities:
Qualifications (Minimum)
- Graduate with past work experience in Safety & Marine department.
- Good knowledge of the English language.
- Maintaining the filing System for Security related Bulletins
- Mailing security related Mails to Fleet
- Communicate with flag administration & Classification societies as guided by Safety Suptd.
- Assisting with the development, the submission for approval, and thereafter the implementation and maintenance of the Ship Security Plan.
- Assisting to the modification of Ship Security Plan, as appropriate
- Assisting with Ship Security Assessments
- Maintain and updates Audit (Internal and External) records for the office and ships. Monitor the due dates for CAR / NCN / Observations. Follow up till they are closed out.
- Visit Flag Administration websites monthly to ensure that all new Flag circulars, information, and legislations applicable to vessels under our management is timely downloaded and forwarded on board.
- Maintains updated record of GMDSS Shore Based maintenance certificate dates.
- Maintain office Library and ensure that all manuals and publications are always updated and available.
- Keeps class survey status downloaded & uploaded in system within every 3 months or as required.
- Assisting with LRIT Testing & Certification.
- Maintains and updates all circular files in the office.
- Assists in vessels takeover, hand over, flag change, etc and other like activities.
- Liaises with Safety Suptd for receiving audit reports, updates for company manuals, forms, etc.
- Performs secretarial functions as required.

**Salary**: From AED3,000.00 per month
