Overview
Mastercard’s Cross-Border Services team (XBS) is driving innovation and growth to meet today’s demands for simple, certain, and secure international payments. XBS is a portfolio of integrated assets and capabilities designed to service key verticals and multiple payment experiences. Through a single connection, we enable partners the ability to reach a variety of endpoints—account, card, mobile wallet, or cash payout—nearly anywhere in the world.
- Perform product and technical deep dives with customers during sales as well as during implementation activities.
- Support launch-related activities associated with new or highly customized product implementations, including marketing/communication and collateral.
- Defines business and technical requirements for product development roadmap and manages the relationships of technical resources and the Global Technology Organization to maintain and build out platforms and processes across cross functional teams.
- Analyses post launch KPIs and provides consulting to customer as well as product development team to improve KPIs linked to product evolution and product usage.
Major Accountabilities:
- Deliver product workshops to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Provide consultancy and advisory support to customers on their end user journey and solution design towards establishing a best-in-class cross border payment solution.
- Contribute to the development of new products and product enhancements to meet customers’ needs.
- Follow the end-to-end product sales, implementation and launch processes for assigned areas of responsibility.
- Participate in assigned phases of the product development life cycle which may range from concept to launch.
- Enhance the development of the product value proposition across EEMEA markets.
- Engage in the execution of regional and global cross border product strategy.
Knowledge / Experience:
- Prior related work experience in products/systems development, execution planning and project management, preferably in financial services or banking industry.
- Knowledge of product development and product operations.
- Experience in banking/financial/remittance operations highly desirable.
- Cross functional teamwork experience preferred.
Skills/ Abilities:
- Solid understanding of the payments industry with an ability to identify viable solutions to business problems
- Business acumen coupled with a strong customer focus and analytical skills
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills
- Ability to interact effectively at all levels and team with internal and external business partners
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a highly matrixed organization
Work Conditions:
- Limited domestic/international travel required
