**Responsibilities**
- Supports company's philosophy and company culture through the use of pillars and legendary quality experiences on a daily basis to ensure guest satisfaction and the achievement of our mission statement.
- To formulate and implement the strategy related to the hotel’s daily operational needs ensuring consistent guest services, colleague productivity, and safety while constantly striving for improvement.
- Responsible for the leadership and achievement of performance targets of the Rooms Division.
- Personally, welcomes and bid farewell guests in all VIP categories as well as repeat guests; recognize and anticipate their individual needs.
- Ensure that Legendary Quality Standards, policies and procedures of Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental are properly understood and followed through.
- Perform all aspects of human resources and training functions, including counselling, coaching, training, disciplinary actions for Front Services colleagues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with colleagues and guests.
- Handle all guest complaints and comments relating to the department efficiently and tactfully in line with MOHG standards.
- Manage the Front Office FOCUS (Upselling) Program, encouraging participation and growth.
- Experience in managing large group arrival and departures.
- Develop and execute strategic and long-term objectives, as required by Director of Rooms.
- Monitor in house guests’ satisfaction and manage guests’ complaint.

**Key competencies and background**
- Degree in Hotel Management or relevant field
- Minimum of two (2) year of experience in the same role within an international luxury hotel group
- Experience in a large fast paced luxury property
- Impeccable guest service skills and someone who enjoys creating delightful moments for guests
- Able to thrive in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong operational leadership with a business acumen
