Due to
the expansion of the existing leadership structure in Secondary in August 2024,
we are looking to appoint an experienced and inspirational educational leader
to the position of Assistant Head of Secondary - Pastoral team to build upon the school's achievements and
successes and move it forward in its next phase of development.

The Assistant Headteacher of Secondary - Pastoral
will work in partnership with the Head of Secondary, and the Secondary
Leadership team to promote the care and well-being of students, staff and
support a wide range of pastoral programmes. This
position will also work closely with the Heads of Year to ensure outstanding
levels of pastoral care and professional leadership of the pastoral teams. This
will require the effective use of resources within the school, the ability to
understand and motivate the different pastoral teams while striving to continually
improve the attendance, standards, and achievements of all pupils.

Headteacher should hold as a minimum, a B.Ed. or B.A & PGCE / PGDE or
equivalent. Tertiary qualifications such as NPQSL
is desirable but not essential.
