**Job Title: Quality Control (QC) Manager - Pharmaceuticals**

**Job Summary**:
The QC Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the quality control function within a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This role involves leading a team of QC analysts and specialists to ensure the quality and compliance of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products through rigorous testing and adherence to regulatory requirements. The QC Manager collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high standards of quality assurance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Team Leadership and Management**:

- Supervise and mentor a team of QC analysts and specialists, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and accountability within the QC department.
- Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and provide feedback to team members to facilitate professional development and growth.
- **Quality Control Operations**:

- Develop and implement robust QC procedures, protocols, and testing methodologies to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Oversee the execution of routine and non-routine testing of pharmaceutical products, including raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods.
- Review and approve test results, ensuring compliance with specifications, regulatory standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- **Instrumentation and Equipment Management**:

- Manage the calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure proper functionality and accuracy of test results.
- Evaluate new technologies and instrumentation to enhance the efficiency and capabilities of the QC laboratory.
- **Compliance and Documentation**:

- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including FDA, EMA, and other applicable guidelines, through comprehensive documentation and record-keeping practices.
- Oversee the preparation and review of QC-related documents, including SOPs, protocols, validation reports, and regulatory submissions.
- Lead internal and external audits of the QC function, addressing findings and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) as needed.
- **Quality Improvement Initiatives**:

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the QC department, driving initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Implement quality risk management strategies and participate in root cause analysis and investigations of quality issues, driving continuous improvement efforts.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with other departments, including Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and R&D, to address quality-related issues and support product development and commercialization activities.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in a pharmaceutical QC role, with progressive responsibility and leadership experience.
- In-depth knowledge of analytical techniques and instrumentation commonly used in pharmaceutical testing, including HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis spectroscopy, etc.
- Strong understanding of GMP regulations, quality control principles, and regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical products.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.

**Salary**: AED16,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month

**Experience**:
