**Job Overview**

As we continue to expand our product lines and market presence, we are on the look out for an ambitious and articulate **Studio & Production Assistant**. A background in fashion design and production management is key. You will be part of an exciting and important phase of our brand journey and will be a key member of our tight Dubai-based team. This role would suit an highly organised and reliable individual with a strong interest in high-quality fashion design development, production and management.

As a **Studio & Production Assistant** at BLSSD, you will play a vital role in supporting the design and production team throughout the entire product development process. From concept to execution, your creativity, attention to detail, and organizational skills will contribute to the successful creation and delivery of our fashion collections. This position is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual with a flair for fashion and a desire to be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking fashion brand.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Design Collaboration**:

- Research for: design, print, fabrics, accessories, manufacturers
- Collaborate closely with the design team to assist in coordinating the sampling process both internally and with external vendors, ensuring timely delivery and accurate execution of designs
- Prepare accurate tech packs

**Production Coordination**:

- Assist with production management including maintaining MRP systems ensuring up-to-date accuracy
- Liaising with factories, suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and finished products
- Help keep track of MOQ’s, lead times, shipping and expenses
- Create all style information required in our MRP system
- Liaise with finance team to ensure all PO and billing requirements are on track
- Assist in preparing production reports and update project status for internal stakeholders
- Perform quality control inspections of all products to maintain strict premium standards
- General studio assistance including scheduling supplier briefings, managing deadlines and schedules

**Fashion Trends and Market Research**:

- Stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends, emerging technologies, and sustainable practices in the industry
- Assist with customers that come into showroom to understand more about the style, fabrics and fit
- Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within our product lines

**Skills and Experience Required**

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience (1-2 years) in a fashion design or production assistant role, preferably within a fast-paced and innovative fashion brand
- Qualification in Fashion Design, Textiles, or a related field
- Proficiency in software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Dropbox, MS Excel
- An understanding of MRP platforms such as Katana or equivalent is a plus
- Strong understanding of garment construction and production processes
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Self motivated with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of fashion aesthetics and trends
- Knowledge of sustainable fashion practices is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
- Ambitious, commercially aware with good communication skills
- Reliable, dedicated and a strong team player
- Must be based in Dubai or willing to relocate

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
