**Structural Inspector**

Dubai, UAE

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Structural **Inspector **to join our team In this role you will get to **performs continuous surveillance of assigned inspection activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and specifications.**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Inspects site conditions to ensure suitability for the designed permanent works.
- Gives practical advice on constructional matters.
- Inspects construction, including temporary, works to ensure compliance with approved methods and contract requirements.
- Interfaces with client and contractor’s staff to determine and verify project requirements.
- Prepares and maintains inspection reports and site records.
- Performs civil and structural tests, such as soil compaction, moisture content, aggregation, graduation, concrete slump, air entrainment, concrete compression, lines and grades surveys, bolt torques and concrete coring.
- Provides general inspection on all construction labor and subcontracted tasks to ensure professional workmanship.
- Verifies equipment alignment and balancing operations.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

**Requirements**:

- **Degree or Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering **from a recognized University/College.
- **Minimum 3 years of experience in inspection of road construction works.**
- **Dubai work experience is strongly preferred.**
- Knowledge and experience using computer software.
- Strong analytic capabilities and the ability to work independently.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications and be thoroughly familiar with constructionrelated processes related to area of assignment.
