Fabrication Foremen

Location: Sharjah, UAE.

Qualification: Preferably SSLC / ITI with working knowledge of English to read, write & understand the drgs & shop floor reports.

Experience: 5+ years hands on fitter / fabricator experience and 5+ years of supervision experience in structural steel fabrication.

**Requirements**:

- Must be able to lead and get along with the workers to achieve the production targets.
- Must be a resident of UAE.

Job Summary:

- Understand the project specifications/requirements for the allocated drawings, communicate to all concerned in the fabrication bay, and allocate work to all crews.
- Arrange and ensure the provision of all drawings, cut materials, layouts, and required tools and tackles to the workforce.
- Guide fabricators and fitters to accomplish the assigned fit-up activities and optimize man-hours according to bay set production targets and project quality requirements.
- Coordinate with welding crews for job completion and other departments like CNC shop for material feeding, QA/QC inspectors for job clearance, and stores for acquiring required tools and consumables.
- Report ongoing fabrication issues, suggest potential productivity or quality enhancements, assist in continuous improvement, and adopt standard working practices to meet daily production targets and achieve a zero rework target.
- Ensure proper adherence to all safety practices and regular housekeeping to achieve a zero accident target.
- Maintain and care for company assets like welding machines, tools and tackles, laser plumps, gas lines, etc., for optimal utilization.
- Monitor worker attendance and absences daily, and counsel workers to reduce absenteeism as much as possible.
- Maintain discipline, foster mutual relationships, and follow organizational culture, policies, and procedures within company premises, including staff accommodation.

Basic Salary: 3000 AED

Accommodation Allowance: 1000 AED

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
