Job Title: Food Production Manager (Frozen & Chilled Meat Manufacturing - Poultry and Beef)

Location: Dubai, UAE

**Job Summary**:
The Production Manager for Frozen & Chilled Meat Manufacturing is responsible for overseeing and managing the production operations of a manufacturing facility specializing in frozen/Chilled meat products, including chicken and beef. The Production Manager ensures compliance with Dubai Municipality and FoodWatch regulations, maintains high-quality standards, optimizes production processes, and leads a team of production staff to achieve production targets and operational excellence.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and strategies to meet production targets while ensuring compliance with Dubai Municipality and FoodWatch regulations.
- Monitor production activities to ensure adherence to quality, safety, and hygiene standards, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) guidelines.
- Optimize production processes, workflows, and equipment utilization to maximize efficiency, productivity, and product quality.
- Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure the availability of raw materials, ingredients, and packaging materials required for production.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any quality or compliance issues.

**Team Supervision and Development**:

- Lead and supervise a team of production employees, along the support of the HR Department, support the hiring, training, coaching, and performance management of the subordinates.
- Ensure proper staffing levels to meet production demands and allocate resources effectively.
- Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and encourage employee engagement and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training and development needs for the production team.

**Quality Control and Compliance**:

- Implement and maintain quality control measures and compliance with Dubai Municipality and FoodWatch regulations.
- Enforce strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards throughout the production process.
- Conduct regular inspections, tests, and audits to ensure product quality, consistency, and safety.
- Investigate and address any quality or compliance issues, implement corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution.

**Production Reporting and Analysis**:

- Generate daily, weekly, monthly and annual production reports, including productivity, efficiency, quality, and compliance metrics.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as quality assurance, maintenance, and logistics, to resolve production-related issues and implement process enhancements.

**Regulatory Compliance and Safety**:

- Stay up to date with Dubai Municipality and FoodWatch regulations, ensuring compliance and proactively implementing necessary changes.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all production employees.
- Conduct regular safety training sessions and promote a culture of safety awareness and adherence.

**Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and waste minimization, and implement best practices and lean manufacturing principles.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by fostering innovation and encouraging employees to contribute ideas and suggestions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes related to frozen/chilled meat manufacturing, incorporating relevant advancements into operations.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in a managerial role in a frozen & chilled meat manufacturing facility, preferably in compliance with Dubai Municipality and FoodWatch regulations.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, ISO, HACCP guidelines, and quality control standards in the food manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with Dubai Municipality and FoodWatch regulations specific to frozen/Chilled meat manufacturing.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively lead and coordinate a diverse production team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address production challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Proficiency in using production management software and systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities.
