Northwest Clinic in Dubai is looking for an experienced and dedicated OPD supervisor. As a OPD Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Outpatient Department, ensuring efficient patient flow, high-quality service, and adherence to clinical standards. Also, you will have to supervise staff, manage schedules, coordinate patient care, and maintain a safe and welcoming environment for patients and families.
**Job roles and Responsibilities**:
**Staff Management**:
- Supervise, train, and evaluate OPD staff, including nurses, medical assistants, and administrative personnel.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss policies, procedures, and performance.
- Assist in hiring and onboarding new staff members.
**Patient Care Coordination**:
- Oversee patient scheduling, ensuring optimal appointment availability and mínimal wait times.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure timely and appropriate patient care.
- Address patient concerns and complaints, providing solutions to enhance the patient experience.
**Operational Oversight**:
- Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement efficient workflows and processes to improve department productivity.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation practices.
**Quality Assurance**:
- Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and accreditation standards.
- Prepare reports and participate in departmental audits as needed.
**Communication**:
- Serve as the primary liaison between the OPD and other departments.
- Foster a positive team environment and promote effective communication among staff.
**Job qualifications and requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (required).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting or similar healthcare environment.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and office software.
