Job Purpose

Update in system for store activities pertaining to inventory and overall control of store.

Key Responsibilities
- Update of reports on inventory quantities.
- Maintain proper records.
- To initiate purchase requisitions for the replacement of stock of all regular
- stores items whenever the stock level of any item of store approaches the
- minimum limit fixed in respect thereof.
- To check and receive purchased materials forwarded by the receiving
- department and to arrange for the storage in appropriate places.
- Reserve a particular material for a specific job as required.
- To issue materials in required quantities against authorised requisition
- notes/material lists.

Key Interaction
- To check the balances, with the actual physical stock at frequent intervals by
- way of internal control over wrong issues, pilferage, etc.
- Adheres to Safe working instruction and SOPs.
- Adheres to near miss and incident reporting.
- Performs any other related activities, as requested.
- Ensure readiness of store for internal /external audit in short notice.

Required Qualification and Experience
- Minimum High School Certificate and Diploma in material management.
