The quality officer shall develop and implement, review and update a comprehensive set of quality and safety (QS) policies and procedures as per DOH JAWDA.

**Job Responsibilities includes but not limited to the following**:

- Data collection, Analysis and Interpretation
- Review, monitor and conduct random audits for all departments to check compliance with the quality criteria in line with DOH, JCIA, FANR, TASNEEF, JAWDA and OSHMS.
- Conduct a gap analysis and mock surveys to ensure full compliance to standards
- Coordinate and Handle HAAD, FANR,TASNEEF and JAWDA regulatory audits.
- Handle patient complaints, Incident reports to conduct Root Cause analysis
- Assists in obtaining quality accreditations, facilitating and driving the processes to ensure that all requirements are met.
- Coordinate the process for review and submission of Jawda and HQI performance measures as per established process and timelines.
- Ensure a reliable process of KPI collection, robust validation and analysis, yielding comparative data and reports that will help the practice team to improve the efficiency of care delivery.
- Ensure full compliance with Tasneef Jawda data certification and coordinate the audit requirements and findings with all stakeholders to ensure action plans are developed for further compliance.
- Monitor action plans development and progress to ensure closing the loop.
- Monitoring and assessing quality outcomes / trends to provide accurate and timely information for planning and practice change
- Coordinate with other departments/sections for the development, implementation, and monitoring of departmental quality metrics / measures and quality improvement program
- Initiate and implement quality improvement projects with various departments’ heads and facility wide.
- Liaise with external third parties as and when required.
- Scheduling and Coordination of Hospital Committees
- Developing complete, timely reliable reports and sharing information with staff, including reports on monthly and annual basis to the Management.
- Perform other reasonable duties which may be required by the Management from time to time.
- Develop clinical audit plans in collaboration with different practice teams and assist in monitoring key aspects of the plan
- Coordinating and supervising the clinical audit data collection, analysis, and reporting of statistical and audit information
- Assisting in the delivery of clinical audit training to other staff that plan to undertake clinical audit.
- Partner with IT team to develop the KPI automated report, dashboards and technology infrastructure needed to support quality improvement programs.
- Maintaining positive and effective working relationships within the department/division and with other departments/sections within the facility.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's / Master's Degree
- 2-3 years of Healthcare experience within the UAE.
- Computer literacy and medical terminology comprehension are essential
- Proficiency in the use of computer programs for excels, spreadsheets, data analysis, creation of graphs and charts.
- Excellent communication skills are required.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Quality related certifications.
