Support the Chef de Partie in preparing ingredients for international dishes, such as chopping, marinating, or pre-cooking.
- Ensure that ingredients from different global cuisines are handled properly, respecting authenticity and traditional cooking methods.
- Prepare and cook various dishes from international cuisines according to the restaurant’s menu and standards.
- Work with diverse cooking methods, such as grilling, sautéing, baking, steaming, or frying, based on the cuisine type (e.g., Asian stir-frying, French sautéing, or Italian pasta-making).
- Ensure dishes are consistently prepared to high standards of quality, taste, and presentation, in line with the specific international culinary traditions.
- Follow all recipes accurately, especially those that involve complex or traditional international cooking techniques.
- Help manage a specific section of the kitchen, such as sauces, vegetables, or grilling, depending on the kitchen's setup.
- Assist in organizing the station efficiently, maintaining cleanliness, and making sure all equipment is ready for use.
- Assist with the plating and presentation of international dishes, ensuring they reflect the authenticity and style of the cuisine.
- Pay close attention to presentation standards, as international cuisines often have specific and culturally significant ways of presenting food.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures as required by health regulations, particularly when working with raw ingredients or diverse foods that may have special handling requirements.
- Help maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and on the workstations.
- Assist in managing the stock of ingredients for international cuisines, ensuring that items are always fresh and properly stored.
- Report inventory needs to the Chef de Partie and ensure proper stock rotation to prevent waste.
- Actively engage in learning about different international cuisines, cooking techniques, and new trends in global culinary arts.
- Take direction from senior chefs and be proactive in improving skills and expanding knowledge of international dishes.
- Work closely with the rest of the kitchen team, including chefs, cooks, and front-of-house staff, ensuring smooth communication and efficient kitchen operations.
- Support other team members, including junior kitchen staff, as necessary.

**Key Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Culinary Education**: A formal culinary qualification, ideally with exposure to international cuisines.
- **Knowledge of International Cuisine**: Familiarity with a range of cooking techniques and ingredients used in international dishes, such as Asian, Mediterranean, French, Italian, Middle Eastern, and Latin American cuisines.
- **Basic Cooking Skills**: Proficient in basic culinary techniques such as knife skills, cooking methods, and food safety procedures.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ability to follow recipes precisely and produce consistent, high-quality results.
- **Creativity and Passion for International Food**: Interest in exploring different culinary traditions and developing new ideas within the framework of traditional cuisines.
- **Time Management**: Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently, especially in high-pressure kitchen environments.
- **Teamwork**: Ability to collaborate with other kitchen staff and work well in a team-oriented environment.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
