**Responsibilities**:
**Essential Requirements**:

- Should understand capacity modelling, management processes, and methodologies.
- Understand performance and capacity data and dashboard concepts.
- Experience in contributing to a systems architecture and design to help improve the quality and maturity of systems/processes.
- Should have previous experience with BMC TSCO (capacity management tool).
- Should have good exposure to Operating Systems and Databases and respective performance metrics.
- Good communication and analytical skills.
- Should have in-depth knowledge of BMC TSCO and its components.
- Implementation and integration of BMC TSCO with third-party tools.
- Maintain & Support BMC TSCO.
- Create and maintain Capacity Reports and their schedules.
- Good knowledge of Custom Dashboard and Reports.
- Support the tool on new requirements/version upgrades of the tool.
- Provide administrative support for a VMware-based BMC Demo Cloud (BDC)
- Provide administrative support for a SaaS, containerized demo deployment system
- Develop and support new, inspiring, and differentiated BMC Solution demos that can be used to
- Assist VSE Solution Engineers in customizing and supporting demonstration environments.
- Capture demo requirements for each solution release and ensure accurate replication of new demo deployments by working closely with all teams.
- Gather bug information and best practice requirements and work with demo developers to include them in later demo releases.
- Must work independently to troubleshoot and resolve complex, cross-solution integration issues.

**Qualification**:

- Knowledge of VMware and automation for demo platform support.OS expertise in Windows and Linux
- Desired BMC solution experience includes any or all of the following: BMC Helix ITSM, BMC Helix Discovery, BMC Helix Digital Workplace, BMC Helix Business Workflows, BMC Helix Operations Management, TrueSight Capacity Optimization and TrueSight Operations Management.
- General understanding of DevOps development and release processes.
- Comfortable working across multiple teams and cultures
- A flexible attitude and an ability to take basic objectives and drive projects with regular communication, producing excellent work with mínimal guidance.
- Willing to meet at early or late hours as needed to interface with global teammates and customers.
- Automation through scripting (shell, Powershell, Python) experience. Experience debugging issues in systems and platforms at many levels.
- Ability to correlate incident trends into problem management and execute permanent fixes.
- Timely generation of customer-facing incident reports. Facilitate the generation of periodic operational reports for presentation to customers.
- Define an action plan for troubleshooting/resolution.
- Prepare the monthly capacity dashboard, which includes the details below. This is the initiative/input for the subsequent capacity actions.
- All VMware capacity stats (Cluster/Host/VM/Data store) will be complete.
- capacity picture of the physical layer and virtual VMs
- SAN Storage capacity (SAN and VSAN capacity)
- Database capacity (MS SQL/MY SQL/Oracle DB)
- Network/Security devices capacity (All Network devices/interfaces/switch ports)
- Forecast with 10, 20, and 30% growth.
- Approve/modify the new server builds based on existing capacity.
- Periodically review the risk register and update/modify the capacity risks.
- Prepare a sophisticated/crispy weekly report for the CIO, the key input for the Architecture review board meeting, to make decisions on
- infrastructure allotments for new projects and explain existing VMs. It will have weekly/monthly and 3 months stats for
- Ensuring that the VMware clusters are balanced in terms of utilization by doing the workload/VM movements.
- Managing workload transformation project to move workloads from existing infrastructure to new infrastructure.
