Nearshore Service Line Manager

We are seeking a manager to lead our Nearshore team based in UAE. The Nearshore team in UAE offer support to nearshore development activities through geotechnical survey services in near water depths. Performing surveys of coastal infrastructure, cable and pipeline routes; and for engineering developments our surveys reduce project risk, enhance safety and facilitate route and project design for clients. Utilising Jack ups and self-elevating done - platform from both our global fleet and third-party charters, we acquire multi-disciplinary and complimentary data sets in a single mobilisation. Innovative techniques enable multiple sensors to be operated simultaneously, further enhancing efficiency.

You will be responsible for developing and delivering the short to medium term strategy for the service line in line with the global and regional strategies. You will lead our Project, Client Deliverables and Commercial teams to deliver profitable growth for the business and improve safety culture.

Job responsibilities:
- Short to medium term planning, execution and realisation of the service line strategy.- Client focus, marketing, business development and tendering activities for the service line.- Product portfolio and pricing strategies.- Project management for all projects within the service line and driving delivery excellence.- Direct and in-direct line management of the team including recruitment, promotions and career development.- First line R&D support for projects.- Asset management.

You bring (qualifications & experience)- A degree in Marine Survey or Engineering supplemented with Business or Management- Extensive experience in a similar role, preferably as Operational / Business manager within Nearshore- Extensive people management experience- Strong commercial awareness- Fluency in written and verbal business level English language- Previous experience in a Senior Leadership role- Experience in Marine industry (survey, subsea, engineering)
