**Responsibilities**:
**1. Financial Planning and Analysis**:

- Develop and implement financial strategies, forecasts, and budgets to support the organization's goals and objectives.
- Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis, and scenario modeling to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.

**2. Accounting and Bookkeeping**:

- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

**3. Financial Reporting**:

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Generate management reports and financial analyses to provide insights into the organization's financial performance.

4. **Tax Compliance and Planning**:

- Coordinate with tax advisors and authorities to ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Develop tax planning strategies to optimize the organization's tax position and minimize liabilities.

**5. Cash Management and Treasury**:

- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital management to ensure adequate funding for operational needs and strategic initiatives.
- Manage banking relationships, including bank accounts, credit facilities, and investment portfolios.

**6. Risk Management and Internal Controls**:

- Implement and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risks.
- Conduct risk assessments and internal audits to identify control deficiencies and areas for improvement.

**7. Financial Compliance and Audit**:

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and reporting requirements, including GAAP or IFRS.
- Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors to facilitate the audit process and address any audit findings.

**8. Team Leadership and Development**:

- Supervise and mentor finance staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
- Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous learning within the finance team.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (required); CPA, CMA, or other relevant certifications preferred.
- Proven experience in accounting and finance roles, with progressively increasing responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and reporting tools, as well as accounting software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Ethical conduct and integrity, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of financial management and compliance.
