Job Function: Coordinates all HR related administrative processes for MEAP region; deal with the day to day queries from the business; providing professional and effective support to first level management.

**Reporting Structure**:reports to HR Manager Eastern Hemisphere

**Duties**:

- Coordinates all aspects of the recruitment and selection of new hires ensuring compliance with relevant legislation;
- Responsible for maintaining the HR ATS (Jazz);
- Executes all aspects of the employee life cycle processes for the MEAP region including recruitment and selection, performance management and employee exiting. Ensures that records are accurate at all times on Paycom as well as both electronic and paper files;
- Acts as first line support for all Paycom related queries for MEAP staff;
- Supports the department implementing training and development programs to assist with staff’s continuous personal development;
- Responsible for ensuring employee information in Paycom is correct and maintaining a good working knowledge of the HRIS;
- Responsible for managing HR related Saba training records for MEAP employees;
- Supports employee relations’ investigations with guidance from the HR Manager;
- Assists the HR Manager in the reviewing and updating of all HR forms and policies as per the corporate IMS schedule or as legislation dictates;
- Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of absence/turnover reports in line with departmental KPIs;
- Responsible for producing monthly holiday reports and ensuring their accuracy;
- Responsible for collating regional field personnel utilisation data and preparing statistics for monthly reporting;
- Monitor long term absence and maintaining log of Doctor’s notes and Occupational Health reports;
- Ensure communication of payroll changes to the Accounts department;
- Removal of expired personal data as per company Data Protection policy dictates;
- Deal with ad hoc Human Resources queries;
- Any other associated duties as required by the HR Manager.

**HSE**

The HR Generalist is responsible to the HR Manager for
- Having a positive and responsible attitude towards the health, safety and environmental (HSE) aspects of her daily routines, thus contributing to the development of a healthy and safe working environment.
- Having a thorough knowledge of the HSE policies and procedures that are applicable to her job function and work place.
- Assist with ensuring that all applicable HSE policies and procedures are properly and constantly applied to HR activities.

Reporting all accidents and incidents that occur, within her sphere of control, in accordance with Gyrodata procedure GD-HSE-003

**QA**
- Comply with applicable quality assurance standards

**Required Qualifications and Skills**
- At least 2 years experience in generalist HR position;
- Good general administration experience;
- Proven numerical/mathematical ability;
- Working in a busy environment with tasks that require a short turnaround;
- Ability to work with limited supervision, to make decisions and work on own initiative;
- Effective communication skills, in order to deal tactfully and sensitively with people at all levels;
- Good organisational and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with a wide range of people;
- Ability to work as part of a team;
- Ability to operate within tight deadlines and manage a number of work activities at any one time.

**Preferred Qualifications and Skills**
- Experience of supporting line managers;
- Hold, or be committed to achieving Human Resources qualification;
- Experience of Paycom, Jazz and Saba HR systems
